I didn't know how much 12 weeks would change my life! I went from being a "some day I'd like to get out and Workamp" to now chomping at the bit to not only Workamp, but my additional goal is to become a Level 2 RV Inspector and make money while fulltime RVing! I can't thank the Workamper/NRVTA staff enough for their encouragement, inspiration and jam-packed informational videos. They truly want you to succeed in this new life adventure and they give you the tools to do so. They are always happy to answer questions via phone, email or webinar. Thank you all so much for all you do!

The program does a great job of helping you recognize the potential of Workamping and provides details on how to reach your goals. I especially enjoyed the small business discussions and how it could fit in the overall plans. Several pieces of the puzzle are coming together and will help achieve the dream.

VERY informative. In order of presentation I think this should actually be Class 1. I learned a lot and will be going to the dashboard and performing a few entries and searches now that I am aware of all the things that are out there and the things I can do. Class was cut short 15 min due to technical difficulties, but the "meat" of the class was covered thoroughly.

Beginning a new lifestyle is scary...

There's a lot to learn.  When we're overwhelmed or intimidated by something, it's easy to revert to our comfort zone and just push it out of our minds saying, "I'll do it later."

But when is "later?"  This activity created by fear isn't going to enable you to explore the places you've always wanted to see...to spend the summer playing with your grandkids who live on the other side of the country...to put your skills to use and share your value with others.

Even if you're already exploring this new lifestyle, with the internet and social media today, it's hard to know where to turn for trustworthy information from real people who have actually "walked the walk."  As the founders of the Workamping community, we employ and have built relationships with experts whose passion is to help you get what you want.

The Dreamer's Journey is a roadmap to your possible future.  When you take this Journey, you will be embracing a GPS into the RVing lifestyle (consider our instructors your “RVing Alexa”). It may even lead you to the decision that RVing may not be right for you, but at least you’ll be comfortable with that.

Some people feel like they can embark on this new adventure all on their own. At Workamper News, we have seen the difference in success between those who have taken the time and made the effort towards educating themselves and those who felt there were okay just floating by the seat of their pants.

Put yourself in the "successful" category by investing in a relationship with a team that will get you where you want to go.

We'll Meet You Online!
Tuesdays - Thursdays - once a month on Saturday

(but if you can't, no worries, everything's recorded so you can go at your own pace.)

During the Roadmap series, you will be introduced to multiple RVing industry professionals providing knowledge regarding the hard elements and soft elements of making the transition into the RV lifestyle.

Hard elements we cover include:

  • types of RVs
  • do you keep your house or not
  • what is, and how to select, a domicile
  • health insurance
  • options for funding your lifestyle
  • operating a business from the road

You will also be introduced to equally important soft elements through our partnership with the Zig Ziglar Corporation. These soft elements will assist you in your goal setting and your dream management.

Soft elements we go through include:

  • goal setting
  • understanding your why
  • building the best you
  • how to build winning relationships
  • positive mindset

As you take the Journey, you will experience one Roadmap webinar each week on Tuesday afternoons. Once we go through the entire 12 sessions of the Roadmap series live, we will start it over again, offering you more opportunity to attend live!

Plus, you can also attend a Dreamer Bonus webinar on Thursday afternoons! These webinars will not be repeated regularly. We will continue to add new topics and instructors.

Dreamer Bonus webinar topics include:

  • timeline for beginning RVing
  • Workamping opportunities around the U.S.
  • budgeting
  • understanding and maintaining your RV
  • why rent before you buy
  • RV electrical systems
  • getting connected to the right resources in the RV community
  • getting your mail, vehicle registration, voting
  • technology for RVers
  • how to find a Workamping job
  • RV safety
  • Personal safety on the road
  • Best practices in your RV
  • Interviews with Workampers
  • RVing to Alaksa
  • and more!

You will begin to develop questions as you take this Journey. The last Saturday morning of each month, you will have the opportunity to participate in our Q&A Open Forum. You can ask your questions during this time, or submit them ahead of time.

We encourage you to attend the live presentation, but if your schedule doesn't allow, each webinar will be recorded and accessible here on the Dreamer's Journey website as long as you are enrolled.

FAQ

  • Who is the "we" putting on this course?

Workamper News (Workamper.com) - the creator of the term "Workamping/Workcamping" and founder of this industry. We've been helping RVers and the businesses that employ them since 1987. While we do offer many helpful tools for RVers to find jobs around the U.S., our big focus is on education - to help people live the lifestyle smarter, not harder.

  • How long is this course?

As long as you need it to be. The Dreamer's Journey is an ongoing, online series and community. Once we complete the 12 sessions of the Roadmap series via live webinar, it will repeat! Our Dreamer Bonus series will not repeat and we will continue to add to that. The longer you stay involved, the more opportunity you will have to get your questions answered, listen in on new topics, and grow! For $29.95, you receive 90 days of access. Just renew to continue your Journey!

  • When does/did this course start?

The beauty of The Dreamer's Journey is that you can start any time! There's no time like the present, of course, but you will have access to the recordings of any webinars you've missed so far. And while the Roadmap series will repeat, the Dreamer Bonus series will not repeat, and every Open Forum Saturday will be different as all of the content is generated by your questions.

  • If I have a partner/spouse, do we both need to join?

A household is welcome to share one subscription. You may want to both join if you would like to each track your own progress through the different sections of the Dreamer's Journey.

  • Do I have to be a member of Workamper News (Workamper.com) to participate?

Nope! But we sure appreciate if you are. : )

  • Is Dreamer's Journey included with my Workamper News membership?

The Dreamer's Journey is not included with any level of Workamper News (Workamper.com) membership. While we will talk about Workamping in some of our webinars, the main goal of the Journey is to help those who have not started RVing yet better understand the lifestyle and how to get started in it. Most of the experts that we are bringing on board to share their knowledge are not part of the Workamper News staff, which is another reason it is not included as a membership benefit. Current Workamper News membership benefits are numerous and valued well over the current yearly fees.

  • What is the investment to be part of the Journey?

The cost is $29.95 for 90 days (3 months) and your access begins immediately upon joining. You receive 9 webinars a month and unlimited access to the recordings of the webinars once they take place and any handouts and content that the instructors include with their presentations. We intend for each webinar/video to be about an hour in length. There is no end date to The Dreamer's Journey. You can participate for as long as you need to get through the information you want or need to learn about to make the decision on if RVing is right for you, and if it is, then to start the lifestyle successfully and with confidence.
